Torre del Moro

Tourist Viewpoint of Torre del Moro

Spectacular views: looking to the N-NW, you can spot Tabarca Island, while looking to the S-SE reveals Murcia province, with landmarks like the Mar Menor and Grosa Island.

On dry windy days, known locally as "land wind," the absence of humidity may allow you to glimpse the windmills in the mountains of La Unión.

The viewpoint features interior pathways for strolling, a sculpture dedicated to tourists, children's play areas, and two small barracks replicating the town's traditional homes.

Dique de Oriente

Eastern Breakwater

On one side, the Mediterranean horizon; on the other, the port basin.

The breakwater ending at Torrevieja’s lighthouse is a true promenade, extending over 1,600 meters. Its modern design combines wood and metal, inaugurated on December 7, 2000. It’s now one of the most frequented spots by both tourists and locals.

Paseo Maritimo - 1

Juan Aparicio Promenade

The quintessential seaside promenade in Torrevieja, popularly called "De Las Rocas," begins at Paseo de la Libertad and connects to Avenida de los Marineros, along Playa del Cura. Built atop the rocky coastline, it dates back to the early 20th century.

It features long wooden benches and special lighting. At its start stands the Monument to the Man of the Sea, and along the rocks, you’ll find the statue of “La Bella Lola.”

Museo-Flotante

Floating Museum: Patrol Boat Albatros III

Located at the Torrevieja fishing pier.

Previously used by the Customs Surveillance Service, it was donated to the Museum of the Sea and Salt. Its 33-year history as a coastal guardian culminated in March 2006 when it became a floating museum.

Torrevieja honors its maritime heritage, celebrating generations of seafarers who have proudly carried the town's name along the coast.

Parque Natural la Mata

Natural Park of La Mata and Torrevieja Lagoons

These lagoons are wetlands of significant interest due to their botanical value, undeniable beauty, and socioeconomic impact, hosting one of Europe’s most important salt production facilities.

Remarkably, the lagoons occupy 52% of Torrevieja’s municipal area—a must-visit for nature lovers.

Auditorio

International Music Auditorium of Torrevieja

A venue for major concerts, congresses, and conventions.

The auditorium can accommodate over 1,900 spectators, with a music hall for 1,500 and a chamber hall for over 400. Its spacious common areas, such as the grand foyer, boast high-quality architectural design for visitors' enjoyment.

Parque Naciones

Garden of Nations

Dedicated to European nations, it features a scale map of the continent.

Rich with Mediterranean vegetation, it also houses a terrarium with iguanas and turtles, as well as a dinosaur-shaped slide for children. The park includes a pétanque area, an exhibition hall called “Los Aljibes,” and a chapel dedicated to San Emigdio, Torrevieja’s co-patron saint.

Museo Habanera

Habanera Museum: Ricardo Lafuente Aguado

This small but rich museum is dedicated to the prolific composer Ricardo Lafuente Aguado, showcasing memorabilia, recordings, photos, plaques, paintings, and items related to his work and the choir he directed, the “Salinas de Torrevieja” Choir and Orchestra.
